Headaches have different causes and types..know and treat them


Many suffer from severe and frequent headaches without knowing the real reason behind it, and frequent headaches can affect a person’s life and cause him constant tension. According to medicalnewstoday, headaches can affect any part of the head, and the pain may be present in one or more places. Headaches can cause different types of pain.


There are different types of headaches, and each type has its own causes

 Secondary headaches may be caused by


pregnancy


Systemic conditions, such as infection


Hypothyroidism


Giant cell arteritis


Apoplexy

Secondary headaches can result from serious health problems


tension headache

This is a common form of primary headache. The pain usually develops gradually in the middle of the day


A person may feel:


Mild constant pain on both sides of the head


The pain spreads to and from the neck


Headaches may be due to tension


1: Episodic These episodes usually last a few hours, although they may last for several days


2: Time: includes tension headaches that occur 15 or more days per month for at least 3 months.


Migraines

Migraine headaches may include throbbing and throbbing pain. It often occurs on one side of the head but may turn sides.


During an attack, a person may also experience dizziness


Sensory disturbances, such as changes in vision, known as aura


Sensitivity to light or sound

Rest is one of the most important treatments for headaches, and there are different treatment options, which are:


1: Over-the-counter pain relief medications, such as NSAIDs.


2: Medications prescribed for pain relief.


3: Preventive medications for certain conditions, such as migraines.
